Problem; My glass washer won’t run.

A; Not pluged in, outlet is bad, motor is bad, switch is broken or ground fault has tripped.  To determine the problem first inspect the

electric cord on the washer for defects or breaks in the outer rubber jacket. Replace the cord if found to have a short or the jacket is broken.

Make sure the fuse and ground fault plug is set, plug the washer in then turn it on. If it doesn’t run plug something else into the outlet to test it.  Replace the outlet if nothing pluged in to it works.

If the outlet is determined to be working properly inspeck the on/off switch on the washer.  It should have a firm, audible click as it is moved from the off to on position and back.  If is seems loose in motion and doesn’t lock into the on or off position in a definite manner then the switch is likely bad.  Replace the switch.

If all these tests indicate no problem and the washer still isn’t running then we suggest replacing the motor.
