Problem; My glass washer has an odor.
A; Only two things can cause such a problem, Motor burn out or Bar Gack. First determine if the smell you have is an electrical or metallic type smell. If it is then your motors on its way out and needs to be replaced. See: How do I replace a motor. If the motor appears to be fine then probably its Bar Gack that is actually the odor, not the washer. Bar Gack is a phrase used to describe build up on the glass washer, the brushes and/or your sink.
Remove Bar Gack by removing the band/gear guard from around the base. Scrape visible Gack out and submerge motor base and brushes in clean water with a quality bar glass cleaning product chemical and sanitizer. Turn on glass washer for 5 minutes, change water and put band back on machine. This should get rid of Bar Gack smell.
If it's the motor we suggest the following product(s).
